euromic welcomes new member in the British Isles: Cashel Travel

euromic - the power of local knowledge is delighted to announce Cashel Travel as our newest member, as from June 1st, 2017, covering two key meetings, conferences & incentives destinations: Great Britain and Ireland.

Cashel Travel, with its head office in Edinburgh and representation across Scotland, Ireland and England, provides a highly professional service throughout to the travel trade and individuals

The company was founded in 2000 in Ireland by James Aitken. He is also the past President of the SITE Scotland Chapter, he has 30 years of experience in the travel industry. The company was created as an independent family run business and this is how it remains today. Being a Scotsman, James eventually chose to move back to Scotland and relocated the company headquarters to Edinburgh in 2007. After a few moves and staff additions the company is now headquartered in a historic landmark near Edinburgh's shore.

Here is what James Aitken has to say about joining euromic:
“Being a growing DMC in Great Britain and Ireland, we feel it is the right time for us to join euromic as a recognized and experienced leader on the market.”

With the vibrant city of London as its focal point, as well as hundreds of castles in the surrounding countryside, Great Britain is the perfect balance of old and new. Cashel Travel offers unique access to many of these locations, perfect for business travel and themed events. London is often referred to as the gateway to Europe, and Cashel Travel specializes in all the ins and outs of this highly visited and admired location.

Within the British Isles, Cashel Travel also provides services in Scotland and Wales. Scotland is known for its beautiful castles and many breathtaking golf courses (over 550 to be exact!). With venues such as these, and activities that can be as gentle as cruising, or as wild as white water rafting, there is no doubt that each destination has something to suit every taste and event.

The place known for its pub’s and restaurants, Dublin, offers great experiences for any type of travel. From leisure travel to corporate conferences, Cashel Travel has the knowledge, local expertise and connections to make the most out of a trip to Ireland. From general sightseeing tours that take in battlefields, whiskey tastings, and beautiful scenery, to more specialized pack-ages that might concentrate on the country’s music or its religious history. Cashel Travel wants to prove that Ireland is the perfect destination for any type of activities. From team bonding or conferences, to luxury or leisure travel, they are here to make any requests a reality.

“euromic is proud to be able to promote again these amazing locations and unique experiences that Cashel Travel has to offer”, says Hasan Dinc, President of the Association. “By granting access to these two wonderful and unique countries, euromic has the ability to broaden its services greatly”.
