A Scottish Incentive Weekend
We often get requests for bespoke experiences as part of an incentive trip. Our 15 years background in providing clients with unique programmes means that we are skilled at designing memorable activities and experiences. A good example in a four day / three nights conference for a northern American company in Scotland. It was themed around gastronomy. A Taste of Edinburgh
A Taste of Edinburgh
The 60 delegates begin with a walking tour of Edinburgh, a city known for its mix of Georgian and Gothic architecture. They stop at Edinburgh Castle at the top of the historic Royal Mile where the Scottish crown jewels are. A private drinks reception is organised in the Castle. An exciting evening follows. The starter is a sensory experience - guests are blindfolded to taste a variety of appetisers. The meal is completed with a live Chef demonstration for dessert.
After a morning of meetings, delegates explore the city for themselves on a Treasure Hunt. The highlight of the hunt is a tasting session at a secret location in the city. After this, they meet a local food producer and try traditional Scottish food and drinks to learn about Scottish food heritage. The evening sees guests in newly hired kilts dine at a dramatic castle in the medieval banquet hall. During the meal delegates are entertained by an Opera singer and a traditional Scottish harp player. The programme truly is a feast for the senses.
The best Scottish experience has a bit of everything from great accommodation to sampling traditional food.
